Justin T. Patak, Esq. is an impassioned advocate and problem solver who deploys his legal expertise and creativity to protect his clients’ legal interests. Mr. Patak is a Native Floridian born and raised in Fort Myers. He is licensed in Florida and all three US District Courts in Florida. His legal practice is primarily focused on contract disputes, insurance litigation, construction defects, property damage, and multi-tiered risk transfer/indemnification. In addition, Mr. Patak handles personal injury, bad faith litigation, automobile accidents, federal compliance, and general business disputes. He has been part of several civil trial teams.
Mr. Patak began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the 20th Judicial Circuit of Florida in Collier County. As a Prosecutor, he litigated hundreds of misdemeanor cases and never lost a jury trial. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Patak enjoyed a successful career in enterprise level sales and strategic sales management. This career took him as far as Wall Street and Madison Avenue in New York City.
Overall, Mr. Patak is an experienced practitioner and a natural fighter who stands up for the right thing.
Mr. Patak lives in Fort Myers with his wife, their four-year-old son, and their newborn daughter. He and his wife are very active people who love running, cycling, kayaking, and generally being on the water. He is also a very big sports fan and diehard fan of the Miami Dolphins.
